Pat Anderson is an independent roots-rock singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN. His music springs from his personal background (born in Oklahoma and raised in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains) and his love of American popular music. It is authentic Americana, in the truest sense of the word, with an unabashed nod to rock n' roll, classic country, blues, folk, and everything in between.

"...the things that make us human, good and bad--those are the things I try to amplify, glorify, or just make sense of in the songs..."

When it comes to describing his songwriting, Anderson typically gives a version of the following:

"They say you should write about what you know. Well, there's a lot of things I don't know about, but I do know how to laugh, cry, love, hate, sweat, bleed, win, and lose; to be hungry for something better. Those are the things that make us human, good and bad--those are the things I try to amplify, glorify, or just make sense of in the songs."

Plans are in the works for a full length album release in the spring of 2010.
